As published in the Federal Register on November 23, 2007, the public was invited to comment on the Draft Gulf Hypoxia Action Plan 2008 for Reducing, Mitigating, and Controlling Hypoxia in the Northern Gulf of Mexico and Improving Water Quality in the Mississippi River Basin (Draft 2008 Action Plan). The public comment period on the Draft 2008 Action Plan formally closed on January 4, 2008. The Task Force responded to these comments.
