Do I have any input on what is happening?

Yes. EPA held a series of pre-proposal listening sessions and webinars. If you missed these opportunities, you can still submit comments to the docket. Please follow directions listed in the Federal Register Notice (4 pp, 197K, About PDF).

Public Listening Sessions

EPA held two public listening sessions in Annapolis, Maryland on March 18th and April 29th.

Webinars

From March 21st to May 10th, EPA hosted six webinars which presented background information and current developments in the Clean Boating Act. Questions and comments were also taken from participants. Watch a recording from the March 29th webinar.

Other meetings

An EPA representative gave presentations at the California Clean Boating Network meeting on May 18th in Port Richmond, CA and at the 100th Meridian Initiative Columbia River Basin meeting on June 22nd in Vancouver, Washington.
