2014 National Forum on Contaminants in Fish

The Environmental Protection Agency is hosting the 2014 National Forum on Contaminants in Fish. The Forum was held on September 22-24, 2014 in Alexandria, Virginia. The three-day event brought together representatives from state, tribal, and federal agencies as well as representatives from industry, environmental advocacy groups, community representatives, healthcare organizations and academia to present and discuss the latest science and public health policies pertaining to the health risk and benefits of fish consumption. The sessions included a variety of perspectives and approaches to assessing and communicating public health risks and benefits related to fish contamination.
A poster session on Monday, September 22nd and Tuesday, September 23rd, was held to further the exchange of ideas.
