California Integrated Assessment of Watershed Health (PDF) (118 pp, 8.46MB, About PDF)
In November 2013, the US EPA and California Healthy Streams Partnership announced the release of the California Integrated Assessment of Watershed Health, a statewide report on the status and vulnerability of watershed health. This report was developed by US EPA’s Healthy Watershed Program in collaboration with California Healthy Streams Partnership using the best available data from State and Federal agencies to identify relative watershed condition, stream health, and watershed vulnerability to climate change, land use change, fire regime change, and water use. The assessment results are intended to help inform state clean water and natural resource programs in their efforts to protect healthy watersheds so that the public can continue to enjoy the many benefits and services they provide.
