Chain Locker Effluent Reports

Chain locker effluent accumulates in, and is discharged from, the vessel's chain lockers, where anchors are stored. Chain locker effluent discharges would be prohibited within 12 nautical miles, except for Coast Guard vessels, which would be required to minimize the discharge to the extent possible within 12 nautical miles.
