Public Meeting - June 29, 1998

As of June 29, 1998 the following is the draft regulatory framework for assessing potential adverse environmental impacts that EPA is considering.There are two flow diagrams. Diagram 1 depicts a draft regulatory option for assessment of potential impacts from impingement. Diagram 2 depicts a draft regulatory option for assessment of potential impacts from entrainment. Please note that the enclosed diagrams are predecisional documents that EPA is sharing with stakeholders in the hope of receiving early input on the Agency's current thinking with respect to a regulation implementing Section 316(b) of the Clean Water Act.
