Water: Public Water System Supervision Grant

Tribal PWSS Program Allotments

Every year, Congress appropriates funds to assist eligible states, territories and Indian tribes in carrying out Public Water System Supervision (PWSS) programs. The funds set-aside to support tribal PWSS programs are allotted among EPA's Regional offices, which in turn are responsible for managing tribal programs in each Region. The following fact sheet describes the tribal program support grants in more detail.
